Darcy Penick Named Bergdorf Goodman President
Effective September 4th, Darcy Penick will take on the role of President of Bergdorf Goodman. Penick joins from Amazon-owned Shopbop where she was for 9 years, most recently serving as their Chief Executive Officer. This is not Penicks first time at Bergdorf Goodman, as she was a Buyer there from 2004 – 2005. In her new role, Penick will be reporting to Geoffroy van Raemdonck, CEO of Bergdorf Goodman’s parent company Neiman Marcus.

Riccardo Vannetti

Ferragamo Group Taps Riccardo Vannetti as CMO
Riccardo Vannetti has been appointed to the position of Chief Marketing Officer for The Ferragamo Group. Previously, Vannetti was Tutorship Division Director at Pitti Immagine. Prior to that, he was EVP of consulting firm Lagente Milano. Before that, Vannetti held multiple managerial positions at Condé Nast, Value Retail and Core-Capital.

Helen David

Helen David Departs Harrods as Chief Merchandising Officer
Harrods’ CMO Helen David is stepping down from the position after a decade with the company. David originally joined the luxury department store in 2008, serving in a series of roles including Fashion Director of Womenswear, Childrenswear, Accessories and Fine Jewelry. Prior to Harrods, David was a Buyer at Net-a-Porter and Saks Fifth Avenue. David’s successor at Harrods has not yet been announced.

Stefano Cantino

Stefano Cantino Steps Down as Prada Strategic Marketing Director
Strategic Marketing Director of Prada, Stefano Cantino, is departing the Italian fashion house after 21 years. Cantino first joined Prada in 1997 and has lead the brand’s marketing through multiple posts. Prior to Prada, Cantino was Brand Director of Church, and before that he was General Manager of Car Shoe.

Aldo Gotti, previously Marketing Director at Prada, has left the firm after 27 years.

Pronovias Group Taps Frédéric Pellegrin as CFO
Global leading bridal company Pronovias has tapped Frédéric Pellegrin as their new Chief Financial Officer. Previously, Pellegrin was CFO and Global Investment & Development Director at Euralis Group for 8 years. Prior to that, he was with Reckitt Benckiser for 10 years, most recently serving as their Regional Finance Director for Northern Europe. Pellegrin originally started his career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers as an Auditor.

Eva Ziegler

Eva Ziegler Joins Pronovias Group as CMO
Pronovias has tapped Eva Ziegler as Chief Marketing Officer. Ziegler joins from Fiskars consumer goods company where she held the same position of CMO. Prior to that, she was Global Brand and Marketing Director at Belmond tourism company. Her experience with marketing also includes brands such as Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Toyota, and Saatchi & Saatchi.

Amanda McCormick Bacal

Pronovias Group Names Amanda McCormick Bacal President North America
Pronovias has tapped Amanda McCormick to fill the newly created role of President and Managing Director of North American Operations. Previously, McCormick was SVP of Marketing at Ralph Lauren. Prior to that, she was Senior Director of Marketing at Michael Kors, and before that she was an Account Executive at Edelman Marketing Consulting Firm. In her new position with Pronovias, McCormick will oversee all facets of the brand’s North American business and its further expansion.

Lucilla Talamazzi

Lucilla Talamazzi Promoted at Pronovias Group to General Counsel
The Pronovias Group has appointed Lucilla Talamazzi to General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Talamazzi first joined Pronovias 4 years ago and she most recently served as a Senior In-House Lawyer for the brand. Prior to that, she was an Associate in the Litigation and Arbitration Department at Cuatrecasas Law Firm. In her new role, Talamazzi and her team will be responsible for decreasing legal contingencies and working towards Pronovias overall goals.

VF Corp Names Travis Campbell as The North Face VP and General Manager
Travis Campbell has been appointed to VP and General Manager of The North Face, owned by VF Corp. Previously, Campbell was President of Smartwool, also a VF Corp brand. Prior to that, he was President and CEO of Far Bank Enterprises, the parent company of multiple fly-fishing brands.

Sam Lobban, previously Buying Manager at Mr Porter, is now VP of Men’s Designer and New Concepts at Nordstrom.

Valérie Micòl Bonvecchio, previously Editorial Coordinator at Jil Sander in Milan, is departing the house.

Spotify has found its new Chief Content Officer in Dawn Ostroff. Previously, Ostroff was President of Entertainment at Condé Nast where she is credited with helping launch the company’s video branch. Ostroff’s move is effective August 1st, and her new role will include overseeing Spotify’s content partnerships across all their streaming mediums.

i-D Appoints Carlos Nazario to Senior Fashion Editor
Carlos Nazario has been tapped to become Senior Fashion Editor at i-D Magazine. Previously, Nazario was Fashion Director of Fantastic Man, and he has also styled for multiple brands such as Roberto Cavalli, Theory, and Barney’s.
