Christian Dior Couture Names Charles Delapalme Managing Director, Commercial Activities
Charles Delapalme has been tapped to be Christian Dior Couture’s Managing Director of Commercial Activities. Delapalme joins from Fendi where he was for 6 years, most recently serving as their Managing Director of Retail & Wholesale. Prior to that, he was at Louis Vuitton for 7 years, holding the position of SVP of Western Region, North America upon his departure.

Fendi Taps Giuseppe Oliveri as Managing Director, Retail & Wholesale
Effective July 1st, Giuseppe Oliveri will join Fendi as their new Managing Director of Retail & Wholesale. Previously, Oliveri was Managing Director of China Operations at Christian Dior Couture. His new gig with Fendi involves a move from Shanghai to Rome. In his new position, Oliveri will report to Fendi CEO Serge Brunschwig.

Giovanni Morelli Departs Stuart Weitzman
Stuart Weitzman’s Creative Director, Giovanni Morelli, is leaving the company. The move comes 4 months after presenting his first collection for the American shoe brand. Morelli’s successor has not yet been named by the company.

Theory has announced the appointment of Francesco Fucci as their new Creative Director of Womenswear. Fucci joins Theory after his 5 years as Head Designer at The Row. His first collection for Theory will be a spring 2018 pre-collection.

Debra Perelman Joins Revlon as CEO
Revlon has tapped Debra Perelman to be Chief Executive Officer. Previously, Perelman served as Senior Executive at investment firm MacAndrews & Forbes. Perelman is the daughter of Revlon’s controlling shareholder and will be succeeding Fabian Garcia as CEO.

Kenny WilsonDr. Martens Names Kenny Wilson as CEO
Kenny Wilson has been tapped as the new CEO of Dr Martens. Wilson joins from Cath Kidston where he has served as Chief Executive since 2011. Prior to that, he was President of European Operations at Claire’s. Before that, Wilson was SVP of Commercial Operations, Europe at Levi’s.

Marvin Ellison

Marvin Ellison Steps Down from J.C. Penny as CEO
J.C. Penney’s Chief Executive, Marvin Ellison, is leaving the company to fulfil his new position as the CEO of Lowe’s. Ellison has been CEO of J.C. Penney’s since 2015, and prior to that he lead US Operations at Home Depot.

Carbon38 Taps Helena Kaylin as CMO
Helena Kaylin has been appointed Chief Merchandising Officer at lifestyle brand Carbon38. Kaylin joins the company from Lululemon where she was Global VP of Merchandising. In her new role, based out of Los Angeles, Kaylin will be reporting to CEO and Founder, Katie Warner Johnson.

Iesha Reed, previously Director of Brand Communications for Consumer Goods Business at Swarovski, has left the firm.

IMG Models Names Ivan Bart Fashion Properties Group President
President of IMG Models, Ivan Bart, is now also heading up IMG’s Global Fashion Events business, alongside his role as President. Bart first joined IMG in 1994 as Creative Director, eventually becoming President in 2014. His new responsibilities at IMG now include overseeing NYFW and LFW.

Raf Simons to Show Spring 2019 in Paris
Raf Simons is returning to Paris after debuting his last three collections in New York. The line’s spring 2019 collection is set to show during NYFW on June 20th, 9:30pm.

Vanity Fair names Samira Nasir as Executive Fashion Director
Samira Nasir has been tapped to lead Vanity Fair’s fashion editorials as Executive Fashion Director at the publication. Previously, Nasir was Fashion Director of Elle, and prior to that she was Style Director at InStyle magazine. Her new role combines the responsibilities of Creative Director and Fashion Director. Nasir is succeeding Jessica Diehl, former Creative Director, and Michael Carl, former Fashion Director.

Jessica Diehl Steps Down from Vanity Fair as Creative Director
Jessica Diehl, Creative Director of Fashion and Style at Vanity Fair, is leaving the position after 12 years with the magazine. Prior to her time with Vanity Fair, Diehl had worked styling and editorial positions at a portfolio of magazines such as Vogue, Marie Claire, and Allure.
