Humberto Leon and Carol Lim Depart Kenzo as Creative Directors
Design Duo Carol Lim and Humberto Leon are stepping down after 8 years spearheading design at Kenzo to focus on their brand Opening Ceremony, which they founded in 2002. The pair’s final collection for Kenzo will debut on June 23rd during Men’s Fashion Week in Paris. Their successor has not yet been named.

Calvin Klein Names Cheryl Abel-Hodges CEO
Cheryl Abel-Hodges has been appointed to Chief Executive Officer of Calvin Klein. Previously, Abel-Hodges was President of both Calvin Klein North America and The Underwear Group. Prior to joining Calvin Klein’s parent company, PVH Group in 2006, Abel-Hodges held multiple VP positions over the years at brands like Ralph Lauren, Liz Claiborne, and Josephine Chaus. In her new role at Calvin Klein, Abel-Hodges will be reporting to Stefan Larsson, the President of PVH Group.

Stella McCartney Taps Caroline Deroche Pasquier as CMO
Caroline Deroche Pasquier has joined Stella McCartney as Chief Marketing Officer. In her new role, Pasquier will be working across multiple mediums of communications to further the vision and success of the London-based fashion line. Pasquier joins from Coach where she was SVP of Global Public Relations and Brand Communications. Prior to Coach, she was at Givenchy where she served as Director of Communications, and before that she was with Louis Vuitton where she was Director of Press and PR.

Pringle of Scotland Appoints Giuseppe Marretta as Menswear Design Director
Giuseppe Marretta has been named the new Menswear Design Director as Pringle of Scotland. He joins from Giorgio Armani where he’d been designing since 2013, most recently serving as Head of Women’s Knitwear and Jersey. In his new role with Pringle of Scotland, Marretta will be reporting to CEO Jean Fang.

Victor Ejarque Lopez Joins JC Penney as SVP and General Merchandise Manager, Women’s Apparel
JC Penney has recently named Victor Ejarque Lopez as their new General Merchandise Manager and SVP of Women’s Apparel. Previously, Ejarque Lopez was at Guess where he was VP and General Merchandize Manager of Global Operations. Prior to that, he held executive managerial positions at Sears Holdings and Kmart Corporation. In his new role at JC Penney, he will be reporting to CMO Michelle Wlazio.

Ermenegildo Zegna Hires Domenico Galluccio as Head of PR and Communications
Domenico Gallucio has been tapped by Ermengildo Zegna as the new Head of Public Relations and Communications Department at the luxury Italian house. Galluccio joins from Moncler, where he has been for the past 10 years, most recently serving as their Worldwide Press Office and Media Director.

Marissa Mayer Joins Maisonette Board of Directors
Maisonette has tapped Marissa Mayer to be on their Board of Directors. Mayer is Co-Founder of tech studio Lumi Labs and is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Yahoo, a position she held from 2012 to 2017. Prior to that, she was VP of Locations Services as Google. Besides her newest endeavor of being on the board of childrenswear company Maisonette, Mayer is also on the Board of Walmart and Stanford Children’s Hospital.

Chris Sponiar Tapped by Maisonette to be COO
Maisonette has also appointed Chris Sponiar to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer. Sponiar joins from Walmart where he was General Manager of Walmart.com’s Toys and Seasonal Business division. Prior to that, he was Senior Director of Toys, Games, and Hobbies at Jet.com.

Romain Kremer Steps Down from Camper as Creative Director
Creative Director of shoe brand Camper, Romain Kremer, is stepping down from the company after 5 years. Kremer’s last collection for Camper will be fall 2020.

Matteo Lunelli named Altagamma Foundation President
The Altagamma Foundation, which brings together members of Italy’s high-end brands, has recently selected Matteo Lunelli to act as their new President. Previously, Lunelli was CEO of Ferrari Trento, a sparkling wine company. Lunelli’s presidency at the Altagamma Foundations will run from 2020-2023.

Mike Barry Steps Down from Marks & Spencer as Director of Sustainability Business
Marks & Spencer’s Director of Sustainable Business, Mike Barry, is stepping down from the company after 19 years. Current Head of Sustainability at Marks & Spencer, Carmel McQuaid, will be succeeding Barry in his role.

DL1961 Promotes Zahra Ahmed to CEO
Zahra Ahmed has been appointed Chief Executive Officer at sustainable denim brand DL1961. Ahmed was previously VP of Marketing and E-Commerce at the brand.

Ashley Baptiste, previously a Freelance Publicist at The Hinton Group, is now PR Assistant at Nili Lotan.

Bustle Digital Group Taps Emma Rosenblum to be Editor of Lifestyle Brands
Emma Rosenblum joins Bustle Digital Group as their new Editor in Chief of their Lifestyle Brands, which includes Bustle, Elite Daily, The Zoe Report, and Romper. Previously, Rosenblum was at Elle where she served as Executive Director. Rosenblum’s new appointment is effective July 15th.

Natalie Hartley Named Buro 24/7 Fashion Director
Buro 24/7 has appointed Natalie Hartley to Fashion Director. Hartley joins from Glamour UK where she also acted as Fashion Director. Before that, she was Fashion Director at InStyle.
