Riccardo Tisci Named Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer
Burberry has appointed Riccardo Tisci as their new Chief Creative Officer. Tisci joins from Givenchy where he has been Creative Director since 2005. In his new role he will be responsible for all of the Burberry’s women’s and men’s wear collections, accessories, and advertising campaigns as the iconic British design house looks to redirect their future after several years of stagnant sales.Tisci is succeeding Christopher Bailey who departs after 17 years with the company.

Chief Executive Officer of Salvatore Ferragamo, Eraldo Poletto, is stepping down from the helm of the Italian brand after two years heading the brand. A successor has not yet been named.

Calvin Klein Taps Marie Gulin-Merle as CMO
Marie Gulin-Merle has been named Chief Marketing Officer of Calvin Klein. Gulin-Merle joins from L’Oreal USA where she held the same position of Chief Marketing Officer for four years. Before serving as CMO at L’Oreal, she held multiple communications leadership positions since 2001.

Hermès Promotes Sophie Seibel-Traonouil to Head of International Media Relations
Sophie Seibel-Traonouil is stepping up as the new Head of International Media Relations at Hermès. Seibel-Traonouil is a graduate of the French Fashion Institute and has been with Hermès her entire career. She succeeds Ina Delcourt, who previously held the position for 21 years.

Bobbi Brown Taps Jakob Daschek as SVP
Jakob Daschek is adding SVP of Bobbi Brown to his current role of SVP and Global Creative for La Mer, both under the Estée Lauder Company portfolio. Prior to this new role, Daschek acted as Creative Director and Founder of his namesake brand, Daschek, established in 2002. From 2012-2014 he also served as Executive Creative Director for David Yurman. In his new position, Daschek will oversee Bobbi Brown’s creative strategy.

Yoox Net-a-Porter Hires Giuseppe Tamola as Global Brand and Marketing Director
Giuseppe Tamola has been appointed as the new Global Brand and Marketing Director for Yoox, a newly created position. Previously, Tamola worked at German commerce platform Zalando, where he held a multitude of positions across different arenas such as retail and  brand marketing. Tamola’s new position involves a move from Berlin to Milan.

Philippe Pinatel Joins Mac Cosmetics as SVP and Global General Manager
Mac Cosmetics has a new SVP and Global General Manager in Philippe Pinatel. Previously, Pinatel was Chief Operating Officer and President of Birchbox. He succeeds Karen Buglisi Weiler who is departing after 20 years with MAC.

Karl-Heinz Maurath Retires as Under Armour Chief Revenue Officer
Effective at the end of March, Under Armour’s Chief Revenue Officer Karl-Heinz Maurath will be retiring after five years with the company. He joined the performance wear company in 2012 as International President, and was then promoted to CRO in 2015. Prior to his time there, he held multiple leadership positions at Adidas during his 22 year tenure.
