Lanvin Appoints Bruno Sialelli Creative Director Former menswear design director of Loewe, Bruno Sialleli, has been named Creative Director of Lanvin. Sialelli previously held roles at Balenciaga, Acne Studios and Paco Rabanne.
Calvin Klein Taps Steven Waldberg, EVP, Consumer Engagement Steven Waldberg joins Calvin Kleinas EVP, Consumer Engagement, reporting to Marie Gulin-Merle, Chief Marketing Officer. Waldberg joins from Bvlgari in Rome where he led Global Communications. Prior to that he was Head of Integrated Consumer Communications for Maybelline USA, working with Gulin-Merle, where he managed the consumer journey from programmatic media to social visibility. The communications team as well as marketing leads will now report into Waldberg.
Michael DeLellis Promoted to EVP, Strategic Marketing Initiatives at Calvin Klein Twenty year veteran at Calvin Klein, Inc., Michael DeLellis, has been promoted to EVP, Strategic Marketing Initiatives and Transformation, reporting to Marie Gulin-Merle, Chief Marketing Officer. DeLellis will lead the global modernization of the brand’s strategic marketing capabilities. He will be in charge of global upskilling and will lead the global marketing investment strategy.
Valentino Appoints Tanja Ruhnke VP of Communications North America Tanja Ruhnke has joined Valentino as VP of Communication overseeing PR, events, advertising and VIP relations for North America. Ruhnke has had a long-standing career in public relations, advertising, events, digital and social media having served as a Communication Consultant for fashion and luxury clients such as Gucci, Bottega Veneta and, more recently, Birkenstock. In 2003, she took on the role of International Director of Communications at Helmut Lang in New York, and subsequently Vice President at KCD Paris. In 2012, she joined Alexander Wang as Vice President of Global Branding and Communications. Most recently she had been Vice President of Communications at North6 Group. She will report to Sebastian Suhl, Managing Director Global Markets, and ad interim Valentino USA Chief Executive Officer.
Michael Stefanov, previously Market Editor at Esquire as well as Men’s Health, is now PR Manager at Jospeh Abboud.
Sephora Taps Jean-André Rougeot as CEO Jean-André Rougeot joins Sephora Americas as Chief Executive Officer, effective February 4th. Previously, Rougeot was CEO of BeneFit Cosmetics. Prior to that, he was at Diam International, having served as Chief Executive there as well. In his new role at Sephora, he will be reporting to CEO and Global President, Christopher de Lapuente. Rougeot is succeeding Calvin McDonald, who departed the company in July.
Gemma Bellman Joins Glossier as Director of Europe Glossier has appointed Gemma Bellman to Director of European Operations, a newly created role at the cosmetic brand. Bellman joins from Get the Goss, a London-based health and beauty site, where she was President. Prior to that, she founded BeautySpotter, a platform connecting salons with clients. Alongside these roles, Bellman also serves on the Board for the British Beauty Council and FeelUnique.com.
7 For All Mankind Appoints Simon James Spurr Global Creative Director Simon James Spurr is joining 7 For All Mankind as their new Global Creative Director. Previously, Spurr was Creative Director at Italian menswear brand Eidos. Spurr is also the founder of two namesake menswear lines, SPURR and SIMON SPURR, which he merged into one in 2012 under SIMON SPURR. Prior to starting his own brand, Spurr had designed for houses like Yves Saint Laurent, Calvin Klein, and Polo Ralph Lauren.
Avon Names Laurie Ann Goldman as CEO Laurie Ann Goldman has been named Chief Executive Officer at Avon. Goldman has served on Avon’s Board since August. She joins from Spanx where she also served as Chief Executive. Goldman has sat on the Boards of multiple organizations including Guess, Francesca’s, Joe & The Juice, and SunTrust. Goldman is replacing Scott White, who will be joining Avon’s partner, Cerberus Operations and Advisory Company, as a Strategic Advisor.
Chairman Ian Cheshire and CEO Sergio Bucher Step Down from Debenhams Both Sir Ian Cheshire and Sergio Bucher are stepping down from the Debenhams Board of Directors as the Chairman and Chief Executive, respectively. This change comes following a disagreement with shareholders Landmark and Sports Direct at the board’s annual general meeting. Bucher will continue as the company’s CEO despite stepping down from his position on the Board. In the meantime, Debenhams as appointed Terry Duddy, Senior Independent Director, as Interim Chairman.
Chieh Tsai Promoted at Land’s End to CPO Land’s End has promoted Chieh Tsai from SVP of Design to Chief Product Officer. In her new role, she will be overseeing all design, merchandising, and global sourcing activities for the brand. Previously, she was VP of Design at Ann Inc, which includes brands Ann Taylor and Loft. Prior to that, Tsai was Design Director and Calvin Klein, and before that was Senior Designer at Nine West.
Melisa Goldie, previously Chief Marketing Officer at Calvin Klein, is now CMO at Yeti Coolers.
Grace Rowe, previously Senior Producer at IMG Australia, is now Senior Producer for IMG Focus.
Casey Flanegan, previously Senior Photography Agent at Webber Represents & Cadence Image, is now Manager at IMG Lens.
Lindsey Dicola, previously Senior Manager of PR at UGG, is now PR Director.
Matty Magnin previously PR Associate at UGG, is now Associate PR Manager.
Tommy Hilfiger to Hold ‘See-Now-Buy-Now’ Show in Paris Tommy Hilfiger has announced that his spring 2019 Tommy x Zendaya collection will show in Paris on March 2nd. This new line is a collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger Global Brand Ambassador, Zendaya. The company declined to share the exact location of the show.
Donna Lagani Steps Down from Cosmopolitan as Publisher Cosmopolitan’s Publisher, Donna Lagani, is stepping down from her position after 20 years in the role. She is said to be joining the Hearst Foundation in a role that is currently undisclosed. Nancy Berger, is succeeding Lagani as Cosmopolitan’s Publisher.

Blair Hecht Named Publisher at Marie Claire Marie Claire has tapped Blair Hecht to act as their new Publisher. Previously, Hecht was Associate Publisher at Elle for 8 years. Hecht has publishing experience at multiple titles, including Teen Vogue, Allure, and Town & Country.
Kate Kelly Smith is Retiring from Hearst Design Group SVP, CRO, and Publishing Director The SVP, CRO, and Publishing Director of the Hearst Design Group, Kate Kelly Smith, is retiring this March. Prior to joining Hearst in 2006, Smith was VP Publisher on Women’s Health at Rodale. She will be succeeded by Jennifer Bruno.
