Burberry’s New Collaborative Project Unites Fashion And Music
Celebrating community, creativity, and the voices of the future, Burberry has announced a partnership with Colorsxstudios. Together, they will produce an exclusive video series spotlighting emerging artists. The partnership provides a platform for the next generation of creatives, in a celebration of individuality and self-expression.
The Colors x Burberry video series will feature six artists each performing a new song on the Colors stage. The artists will be styled in Burberry’s Spring 2021 collection designed by Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci.
Bringing together fashion and music, this partnership fosters a community where the uniting element is youth and creativity. The featured artists – Esty, Maria Isabel, Q, Reggie, Serpentwithfeet, and Smino – represent a spectrum of genres and cities, embodying the shared ethos of both Burberry and Colors to champion communities and empower creatives from diverse backgrounds.
Alongside this initiative, Burberry will make donations under the names of each featured artist to local community-driven, youth-focused, arts initiatives selected by the artists.
The first video of the Colors x Burberry series was revealed this week, and new videos will launch every other week through May 2021. The videos will be available to watch on the Colorsxstudios’ YouTube channel and on Burberry’s website, alongside additional interviews with the artists available on Colorsxstudios IGTV (Instagram TV). Moreover, a curated Spotify playlist will be released in June 2021 featuring the six chosen artists and a selection of their new songs.
