Burberry And Goat Collaborate For The Punk Rock Remodel Of The ‘Arthur’ Sneaker

The Burberry and Goat ‘Arthur’ sneakers will launch in distinct men’s and women’s colorways including tempest grey, pistachio, optic white, silver, and gold. Selected styles are accented with chain detailing, a homage to the British punk scene which Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci first explored during his time at Central Saint Martins in London. The sneakers feature emblematic house codes, such as Burberry’s iconic check referenced in cross-detailed treads, the ‘TB’ motif as an ode to founder Thomas Burberry, and embossed Burberry lettering at the heels.

To launch the exclusive partnership, Burberry and Goat unveil a visual campaign lensed by Los Angeles based photographer Aidan Cullen starring model Isabella Manderson and musician Jean Dawson. The British punk attitude which inspired the exclusive sneakers is echoed in the dynamic, youthful energy captured against a backdrop of Los Angeles in the darkest hours of the evening.

Maritime history fuses with a modern streetwear aesthetic to create its signature rain boot inspired silhouettes. The passionate community surrounding Goat and Burberry intersect in this first-ever partnership between the two houses celebrating luxury heritage, streetwear and youth culture.
