Burberry Plays To The Power Of Exclusivity With 150 Numbered Editions Of Each Style
Burberry is kicking off the new year by introducing its exclusive Future Archive, a collection of clothes and accessories celebrating the label’s storied tradition in outerwear.
Designed by Riccardo Tisci, Burberry’s Future Archive is a unique capsule of modern Burberry signatures. The collection is limited edition and each piece has been designed exclusively, reinterpreted from classics within the Burberry archive. A small selection of pieces are available with an edition number, a piece with everlasting appeal, a part of Burberry’s new heritage.
This move comes shortly after Burberry announced their intention to cease participation in the fashion industry’s tradition of unethical disposal of “last-season’s” clothes and is consistent with Burberry’s larger theme of moving towards more eco-friendly business operations.
The collection will be sold exclusively through Burberry’s website, their Chicago flagship, and Mytheresa; the Future Archive collection will be available from January 5.
