The Calvin Klein 205W39NYC Pre-Fall 2018 Collection embraces tradition and simultaneously communicates Chief Creative Officer Raf Simons’ vision of a new Americana, pulling from its collaboration with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts and its partnership with American heritage brand Pendleton Woolen Mills.
Beyond a collection of merit, is a presentation of merit. What impressed The Impression was the house’s gusto in tackling a lookbook that is art directed every bit as well as a campaign. Simonds and team once again went to their go-to resources in photographer Willy Vanderperre and stylist Olivier Rizzo, who once again proved that a house is only as strong as its weakest link and that every touchpoint, even a lookbook, is an opportunity.
