Swiss luxury jeweler de Grisogono has moved to a larger location in New York City, setting up shop on 700 Madison Avenue.
Located on the same block as Hermès and Hublot, the 1,614-square-foot boutique occupies two floors, with fine and high jewelry collections and luxury timepieces on the first floor and a private VIP salon on the second floor.
“We’re thrilled to open the doors to the new de GRISOGONO boutique in New York on Madison Avenue,” said Lisa Klein, President of de Grisogono US. “By expanding our footprint in the United States, we’ve created a destination for our highly discerning clients to experience the world de Grisogono.”
Founded by Fawaz Gruosi in 1993, de Grisogono has a presence in Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas, and with the opening of its New York City boutique, now operates five stores in the US.
Designed by de Grisogono in collaboration with David Collins Studio, the New York City boutique develops the jeweler’s interior design concept that was first introduced at its London flagship store. Though the designs are similar, the Madison Avenue boutique possesses a singular identity with curated contemporary furniture and materials, and on the first floor white Carrara marble floors mesh metal screens by French artist and textile designer Sophie Mallenbranche.
The first floor also features polished brass details, dark walnut display cases, regal purple silk carpeting, and large brass ‘La Cage’ chandelier by Hudson Furniture, while the second floor and VIP room features a custom Turkish lilac marble fireplace, dark purple upholstered walls and furniture by Essential Home, Artistic Frame, and Hudson Furniture.
de Grisogono adds its New York City boutique to its growing number of US retail locations that includes stores in Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, and at Tysons Galleria in McLean, VA.
