The CFDA Has Selected Actress Emily Blunt To Host The 2021 Fashion Award

The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) has selected Emily Blunt will host the 2021 CFDA Fashion Awards on November 10th. The event will be hosted at The Pool + The Grill, the iconic venue housed within the landmark Seagram Building on Park Avenue.

Blunt is known for memorable performances in such films as The Devil Wears PradaThe Young VictoriaInto the WoodsEdge of TomorrowThe Girl on the TrainA Quiet Place, and Mary Poppins Returns. She has won numerous awards, including a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress – Series, Miniseries, or Television Film for Gideon’s Daughter and a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role for A Quiet Place.

In 2021, Blunt starred in Jungle Cruise and in A Quiet Place Part II, both grossing over $100 million at the U.S. box office, a feat that no other leading actor or actress has accomplished since movie theaters reopened. She has a leading role in The English, an upcoming Western miniseries from writer-director Hugo Blick for the BBC and Amazon.
