Julien Gallico’s Spring 2016 GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI Ad Campaign


The creative promoting the accessory arena is one of fashion’s most difficult due to the simplest yet most challenging variables . . . proportion. How does one create the idea of lifestyle yet assure the eye is also viewing the product?

For Giuseppe Zanotti’s spring 2016 campaign, Parisian-based Creative Director Julien Gallico has viewed the white space, turned it into the backdrop, and created a proportional solution. With a cinematographer’s eye, he has given us a narrative of a rooftop love story coupled with a product focus that a merchant could fall for.

Lensman Mario Sorrenti brings his sexy craftsmanship to the set, which features one of  The Impression’s Top 10 Models of 2015, Grace Hertzel, alongside male counterpoint, Kaleb Ressler. Fellow Parisian, Veronique Didry, subtly styles while longtime hair magician, Bob Recine, brings the tussled touch. Recine is a favorite of The Impression, delivering consistent greatness to campaigns with as much impact as that of the model themselves.

Gallico manages to put product, emoting storytelling, narrative and sexiness all on equal footing. It is no easy feat to deliver a campaign . . . of dramatic proportion.
