Gray Sorrenti

50 Female Creatives Representing the Next Generation of Talent as nominated by our network

It’s no accident that all-around cool-girl, Gray Sorrenti, is both a precocious photographer and star model in the making. Daughter of lauded lensman, Mario Sorrenti, it goes without saying that she was born with an overwhelming penchant for both avenues.

At only 17-years-old, the brunette evokes the raw emotions of someone well beyond her years both through her imagery and modeling alike. Following her cover of Vogue Italia alongside her brother and shot by none other than her father himself, Gray made her photography debut after developing the skill since the age of 13.

Shooting almost exclusively on film, Gray’s first editorial appeared in Moodboard and featured her crew of New York teens. She was subsequently approached to shoot Loewe’s SS18 lookbook where she chose to shuttle a small cast of young talent to New Orleans – her favorite location in the world. Again, Gray captured her unfiltered reality in another photo project produced for i-D magazine.

With plans to continue into fashion photography, Gray spends her time shooting as much as she can while writing scripts and – most importantly- enjoying her youth.
