Gucci Vault celebrates its new partnership with Delvaux in a playful campaign by director and photographer Max Siedentopf.

Gucci recently expanded Vault, its experimental online retail space that houses vintage Gucci as well as special collaborations and vintage and new pieces from other labels, to include an exclusive capsule collection from Delvaux, the world’s oldest luxury leather goods company. For the launch, Delvaux has created eight exclusive, one-of-a-kind, customized editions of its Brillant Mini handbag.

The capsule is celebrated with a fun campaign that imagines the unique personalities behind these custom bags. Speaking in French accents via stop-motion footage and voiceover, the bags share rhyming statements that give an imaginary and whimsical window into their colorful characters.

A simple yet uniquely fun concept, the campaign transcends its surface appearance of straightforward product shots to playfully dive into the personalities of a unique and unprecedented collaboration.
