Director Wes Anderson and Actor Adrien Brody re-team for H&M for Holiday Spot

Director Wes Anderson has always had an understanding for transporting his audience via his distinctive narrative style and emoting touchpoints. And the director once again takes us on a journey for holiday with the house of H&M through their latest commercial short, Come Together.
The 4 minute story takes place on a train traveling through a snowy landscape on Christmas Eve with actor Adrien Brody playing the role of Ralph, the porter. Difficult weather has left Ralph in the difficult spot of announcing to the passengers that the train will be delayed 11 hours thus causing the passengers to miss Christmas morning with their intended loved ones. What ensues is nothing short of a Christmas miracle to represent the true meaning of Christmas as Anderson reminds us via the title, Come Together.

This story may resonate more than ever at a time in the world where we could all do with giving a stranger a hug.
And Anderson knows how to tug on the heartstrings of the audience as well via his exquisite design, quirky details, tracking shots, and ability to close. All great details for H&M to also capitalize on as they and the team at Agency Adam & Eve/DDB were wise enough to engage the director and simply step back and let him do what he does best.
Which is quite simply to take the viewer on a journey, one that although delayed, The Impression for one would be more than happy to spend all day on, as well as share that journey with others.
