Sydney Sweeney stars in the latest campaign from Jacquemus. The actor and Euphoria star poses in a brief and boldly stylish Summer 2022 campaign by photographer Tom Kneller.
The campaign was captured in Hawaii, the same location that hosted the house’s “Le Splash” Summer 2022 runway show. Kneller captures Sweeney as the sun sets behind the ocean, its last orange rays bleeding into a swell of purple clouds. In the foreground, posing in a black bikini top and miniskirt on an angular motorbike, Sweeney summons the energy of a romantic and lovelorn – yet powerful – city-pop heroine or 80’s anime protagonist.
Though the campaign is concise and simple in concept, its excellently executed visuals suggest a rich narrative world, like we are glimpsing a few brief moments from the emotional peak of a wider story. Coupling this striking imagery with a smart and buzzworthy casting choice, the campaign has our engines revving into top gear.
