Review of Jérôme Dreyfuss Spring 2021 Ad Campaign by Photographer Germain Chauveau with Model Constance Jablonski
A new campaign from Jérôme Dreyfuss takes some of the maison’s most iconic bags on a sun-drenched summer adventure. Photographer Germain Chauveau captures model Constance Jablonski for the Spring 2021 campaign.
Though the maison is classically Parisian, the road-trip narrative and styling of the new campaign feel distinctly Americana. Living out of her camper van, boho-chic in denim and flowing skirts, Jablonski seems like an ideal summertime beauty as she cruises from beach to beach. The location scouting feels well-considered, and alongside Jablonski we get to visit some interesting little pockets of summer life.
We can still see a subtle dose of French heritage mixed into the campaign, which feels important in bolstering the consistency of the brand’s identity. We can especially feel this presence in the film’s gypsy-jazz soundtrack, which lends an alluring mystique to Jablonski’s beachy wavy hair and freckles as seen through the vintage film grain.
All together, the campaign is a simple yet lovely tribute to independence and adventure. With a Jérôme Dreyfuss bag at our side, we are ready to go wherever the summer may take us.
