British born photographer Josh Olins was surrounded by photography and the fashion industry from an early age. But it wasn’t until his studies in Art at Middlesex University that he found a love for the medium of photography. Believing that practical experience would suit him better he left his studies to begin work as an assistant to several photographers throughout the early 2000s.

Receiving his first major commissions from POP and Another Magazine, he quickly established himself as one of fashion’s most prolific and talented “new-gen” photographers. Renowned for his unique precision of his compositions, Olins’ photography has achieved recognition for the elegant and natural portrayal of his subjects that transcend the context of their situation and consistently imbues his work with unaffected elegance.

To date, he has worked on editorial projects with high-profile designers, models and celebrities within the fashion, film and music industries, and his work has appeared in prestigious titles such as British Vogue, Vogue Paris, American Vogue, Interview, i-D, WSJ and Dazed & Confused.  Olins has photographed advertising campaigns for leading fashion houses and global brands including Balenciaga, Calvin Klein, Louis Vuitton, Jil Sander, Mugler, Isabel Marant, Narciso Rodriguez, Mango, H&M, The Gap, J Brand and Tommy Hilfiger.
