Kiki de Montparnasse launches limited-edition capsule collection exclusive to Farfetch in collaboration with Caroline Vreeland
Collaborations continue this season with a unique pairing of intimate label Kiki de Montparnasse, lead by Jose Vega, with It-girl and soon-to-be-singer Caroline Vreeland in a capsule collection of undergarments to be sold exclusively through Farfetch.
The pairing showcases the thinking of singer, actress, and model, Vreeland on how she has evolved from an Instagram sensation to a full fedge brander. The collection incorporates embroidered emblems that signify something meaningful to Vreeland: red wine, lipstick, cleavage, pasta, and a microphone. All designed by Vreeland as trademarks to project who she is.
The things we wear under our clothes are not only for a lover. They are for us, a sweet secret, an added luxury. And to think of you, my darlings, wearing the 5 things that make me, me, underneath it all, gives me a special thrill.
– Caroline Vreeland
Part of that thrill will be no likely the release of her aptly named debut album “Notes on Sex and Wine.” The 8-track blues-inspired body of work details Vreeland’s past experiences in relationships while staying true to the brand she’s built. Caroline’s debut Single, “Stay Drunk With Me,” can be heard in the Caroline Vreeland x Kiki De Montparnasse x Farfetch campaign video to be released later this holiday season.
The campaign, lensed by Gabriel Perez Silva, is quite personalized showcasing Vreeland, who embraces the sex in symbol, enjoying a healthy appetite of music, wine, beauty, and pasta. Served together these core elements are fertile components of a brand that both Kiki de Montparnasse and Farfetch are wise to serve up and hopefully, a healthy meal with a bit of spirits will be had by all.
