On the eve of Paris Men’s Fashion Week, Loewe has released a tease of their Spring 2019 campaign.
The campaign preview, composed of three images, will be displayed across Paris on news kiosks and walls, and a flyposter campaign will accompany the overall campaign as well.
The first two portraits, shot by photographer Steven Meisel, feature models Oscar Kindelan and Josh O’Connor respectively. In the first photograph, Kindelan is disguised as a younger version of Meisel himself, and this idea plays on the concepts of projection and impersonation as well as just what it means to represent oneself. The second photograph features O’Connor dressed in colorful pieces from the new men’s collection with an artificial summery set setting the backdrop and reflecting on beach images from previous seasons.
The third and final image, this time shot by Adrien Toubiana and Thomas Cristiani, showcases the upcoming launch of the smallest version of the house’s coveted Gate handbag, which is set to be released in China in August and worldwide in September.
