It’s been quite the long run for Longchamp with this year marking the house’s 70th anniversary.
In its Fall 2018 ad campaign, directed by John Christopher Pina and photographed by David Sims, Kendall Jenner and the classic Longchamp horse can be seen racing through the empty cobblestone Parisian streets. Panning camera shots capture the two rounding corners and sprinting past iconic Parisian sites, such as the beautiful Eiffel Tower, the Place Vendôme, and the new Bibliothèque Nationale.
Jenner, who races through the streets in heeled riding boots, finally catches up to the horse on the steps of Paris’ famous Roman Catholic basilica, the Sacré Coeur, which offers a breathtaking, panoramic view of the city.
The Impression salutes the house’s bridging of the two core elements of its DNA: French Parisian and the iconic image of the horse.
