Mango has released a new campaign photographed by Matteo Montanari with model Grace Elizabeth. Entitled ‘Everyday Pleasures’, the short film packs a lot into less than 15 seconds of footage; Grace Elizabeth plays the guitar, smells the flowers, eats a cupcake, visits a fruit stand, takes some photos (with a real camera!), and reads in a windowsill, all in quick succession. The release coincides with an ad campaign for menswear that is similarly short and sweet.
Stopping to smell the flowers, both literally and figuratively, is a fitting concept for an ad campaign during the global pandemic due to the need for continued self-isolation. Simple, pleasing, and relatable, the campaign serves as a reminder of the importance of self-care. So take a moment to reflect, play some music, take some photos, and read a good book. And don’t forget to treat yourself to fruit or flowers, and maybe a baked good or two!
