Marie-Amélie Sauvé is one of the most respected and influential consultant/brand strategists/stylists in the global fashion industry today. 

For twenty years, she has been helping top-tier luxury and fashion brands retain their edge as she strives to create value, inspire trends and drive growth in everything she embraces from the artistic design of the products and collections, to the branding and communication strategy. An icon in the fashion world, Sauvé’s keen eye and aesthetic has directed many houses to global success stories both artistically and commercially. She is the driving force behind campaigns and fashion shows worldwide, all the while maintaining the integrity of the brand’s identity. 

Marie-Amélie has mentored many rising, young and talented designers. Julien Dossena currently earns rave reviews as creative director at the recently revamped Paco Rabanne. Her work with the Diesel Black Gold team has led to remarkable success for the Renzo Rosso owned brand. In particular, her unprecedented personal and professional relationship with Nicolas Ghesquière has brought about one of the most notable and dynamic collaborations in decades. Together, they turned the historic house of Balenciaga into a highly directional label garnering critical acclaim and notoriety. Sauvé continues to work alongside him as they now lead the house of Louis Vuitton to the forefront of fashion. 

A prominent figure in the print media industry, Sauvé has helped shape and define Vogue Paris, expanded her commercial credentials at American Vogue, held positions at W Magazine, Interview and contributed several stories to Vogue Italia. In 2013, Marie-Amélie was involved in the launch of System magazine; in 2014, she was invited to guest edit the 41st issue of Self Service; and as of Spring 2016, she has taken the role of Fashion Director of T Magazine: The New York Times, reaching an unprecedented 2.6 million readers in the U.S. and abroad. 

As Creative and Editorial Director of the newly launched MAStermind Magazine, she “gives masters in the fields of art, design and culture an ‘idea laboratory’.” Contributors to this first issue include: Stephen Shore, Xavier Dolan, Anne Sinclair, Bruce Weber, Isabelle Huppert, and Steven Meisel. With still more projects in the works, Marie-Amélie Sauvé remains one of the most dedicated and relevant creatives in the fashion world.
