Max Mara Weekend’s Creative Director Susanna Cucco and Photographer Eddie Wrey take us on a getaway for their Spring 2022 campaign. Azure skies and sun bleached cliffs enfold model Nora Attal in their warm embrace on the Sardinian coastline, as she shows off the high-end sunshine ready collection.
Bold and bright patterned cotton dresses and Pasticcino bags, crocheted yarn sleeveless dress and weaved belts, and the classic sailing blue and white coastal theme creates a ready to wear approach to summer dressing which is both intentional and pleasant. Runway posing and simple styling by Anastasia Barbieri conveys significance without excess.
The Mediterranean breeze backdrops a collection that portrays a melting pot of cultural influences with Italian purity holding the balance. The green beach umbrella Nora holds to shade her conveys the message of this campaign, clothing that protects from effort, discomfort, and being caught looking underdressed.
