Director Matty Peacock follows Bella as she takes a low-key journey through the city in springtime. From the Smithsonian to Central Park, the film sparkles with that energy of being able to find adventure and possibility in one’s own home. Peacock makes use of dynamic camerawork to create a strong sense of excitement and motion.
The film is supported by photography from Jason Kim. Kim captures Bella and her girl gang of Mayowa Nicholas, Heejung Park, and Salomon Diaz in adorably coordinated striped outfits as they enjoy each other’s company at one of the city’s classic diners.
Simple and sweet, the campaign hits an uplifting note of springtime optimism, putting a smile on our faces by reminding us that soon we will be free to step out and explore the world around us. Until then, watching Bella do it might be the next best thing.
