Levi’s and Naomi Osaka announce their second collaboration with an effortlessly cool campaign for Summer 2022.
Following on the success of last year’s collaboration between Levi’s and tennis star, activist, and style icon Naomi Osaka, the new capsule brings exaggerated volume and a subtle sense of flower power across five denim pieces based on original sketches by Osaka.
I wanted to keep this collection fun and playful, and also include some pieces for everyone. I was trying to bring some light-heartedness with this collection as a reminder for us all to enjoy the life we’re living and not take things too seriously. The capsule is celebrated in a simple campaign starring Osaka herself and captured by photographer Zoey Grossman. While functioning as a simple showcase of the limitlessly styleable denim fits, the main impact of the imagery comes from the star’s cool, calm, and confident personality.
