Neiman Marcus dances into the holiday season with a new Holiday 2021 campaign by director Anais Larocca with production by The Mill. Like different-sized presents tucked neatly under a Christmas tree, the campaign has many different things to offer, but ties it all up with a nice bow.
Set in a world of holiday magic that may very well be the perfect interior of a snow globe, the short film tells a story of holiday romance through dance. Beginning as two strangers meet over a dropped mitten, a world of possibility opens up, expressed through group choreography and the joy of gift-giving.
The photography portion of the campaign merges fashion editorial with a celebration of all the aspects of the holiday season. From bright and lavish parties and ski vacations to baking cookies or getting out and enjoying the city’s festive decorations, the imagery is bursting with eclectic holiday joy.
The styling team does a good job throughout of maintaining a cohesive campaign aesthetic while highlighting the variety that Neiman Marcus has to offer – a difficult balance in a campaign for a retail store that houses many brands and different creative directions.
