Eyewear Photo Project with Lake Bell & Scott Campbell Spring 2019 Ad Campaign


LA alt husband and wife duo Lake Bell and Scott Campbell have joined the creative entourage of rag & bone creating the new chapter in the houses Eyewear Photo Project for Spring 2019.

Bell, an accomplished actress, and director met Campbell, a world renown tattoo artist, on the set of How to Make it In America. In keeping with the brand’s approach to content creation and collaboration, the duo were provided with full creative control and asked to photograph each other for the brand’s new eyewear range. Shot on a variety of Leica cameras, the duo revisited locations in Los Angeles where Lake shot the rag & bone film ‘Time of Day.’

Creative Director Marcus Wainwright was years ahead of the curve in terms of recognizing that brands will become the content producers of tomorrow. To further that concept he did so by also staying ahead of the curve and ‘letting go.’ Relinquishing control to talents he respected, assigning a few codes, and allowing to go forth and create. Thankfully the results have been consistent and on message. A sharp vision to take for the eyewear market.
