Italian luxury brand REDEMPTION today launched its new athleisure line, ATHLETIX, created with responsibly sourced materials including recycled nylon and polyester, and recycled and FSC certified labeling and packaging.
The ATHLETIX Collection sees Redemption extend their product offering to athleisure wear for the first time, staying true to the brand’s glamorous, erudite and sensual style, whilst using fabrics that are rich in design and responsible in nature. The collection includes leggings, tank tops, bodysuits and jumpsuits in prints or colour block in hues of grey to bright fuchsia.
The brand has now strengthened its commitment to sustainability and will partner with Eco-Age to further its holistic strategy across the business.
Since Redemption’s inception in 2013, Creative Director Gabriele “Bebe” Moratti has adhered to a business model where social responsibility is of paramount importance without compromising the brand, sophisticated Hollywood meets Rock & Roll biker-chic signature style. With the first flagship store opening in New York in the Fall of 2019 (designed by Luca Guadagnino), and stars including Lady Gaga , Katy Perry, Beyoncé, Camila Cabello, Rita Ora and Lizzo wearing its creations, the brand is set to continue its growth and success through the implementation of a sustainability strategy from the ground up.
The ATHLETIX Collection represents the next step of the company’s approach to social and environmental sustainability, which from the start of 2020 will be supported by Eco-Age.
