Self Service Magazine Collaborates With Fashion Icon Kate Moss For An In-Depth Tribute To Her Career
Self Service Magazine has released their Fall/Winter issue, an ambitious, in-depth tribute to fashion icon Kate Moss. Moss served as a special guest editor for the publication, which examines her longstanding career. Self Service also collaborated with a broad array of industry influentials to celebrate Moss’s narrative.
The issue includes Twenty-Eight interviews, all of Moss, from fashion players and long time collaborators, including; Emmanuelle Alt, David Bailey, Fabien Baron, James Brown, Paul Cavaco, Susie Cave, George Cortina, Cara Delevingne, Julien d’Ys, Edward Enninful, Robert Ferrell, Bella Freud, John Galliano, Val Garland, Jefferson Hack, Jess Hallett, Sarajane Hoare, Kim Jones, Nick Knight, Sam McKnight, Lila Moss, Jen Ramey, Paul Rowland, Mario Sorrenti, Charlotte Tilbury, Vivienne Westwood & Andreas Kronthaler, and Anna Wintour.
The edition also spoke with eight other supermodels. This section featured Helena Christensen, Rosemary Ferguson, Shalom Harlow, Yasmin Le Bon, Kristen McMenamy, Frankie Rayder, Christy Turlington Burns, and Amber Valletta. Each recounts their favorite show circuit moments alongside Moss.
Additionally, the issue looks back through time at Moss’s memories, through pictures & objects. Established fashion photographers Inez and Vinoodh, Nick Knight, Glen Luchford, Craig McDean, Jamie Hawkesworth, & Mario Sorrenti reflected on their most meaningful images of Moss and their relationship over the years. Charlotte Cotton wrote an essay on Moss as a style icon. Moreover, David Sims, Guido, and Jake Chapman cover portfolios of Moss’ work.
