Tiffany & Co.’s Reed Krakoff is in good hands this season teaming again with agency Laird+Partners and creative frontman Trey Laird to push the American luxury brand forward in the houses latest campaign entitled Believe In Love.
The campaign, lensed by Cass Bird, is built around young couple’s love stories to promote the Tiffany True engagement ring collection. Couples Suvi Koponen & Tyler Riggs, Aimee Song & Jacopo Moschin, Anastasia Lagune & Kadeem Fisher, Max & Andre, Laura Vassar & Kristopher Brock, Sara & Jeremy, and Julia Hafstrom & Jarrod Brandreth are each capture in intimate black and white images.
The campaign wisely focused on hands and touching, capturing heartfelt moments between the couples in a video set to Lady Gaga’s original song “Is That Alright?” from the film A Star is Born. Gaga, as you may recall, sported the 128 carats Tiffany Yellow Diamond to the recent Oscars.
Drama and yellow diamonds aside the campaign is stunningly photographed and the video is heartfelt. The campaign comes in layers, rather than fall too much into the narrative in the films and still, the creative teamed allowed those stories to unfold on Tiffany’s website where it lives in a more holistic setting.
Overall the campaign is smart and touching.
