Valentino and Balmain’s Parent Company Mayhoola Donates 1M Euros To France Hospitals
To help support French caregivers and hospitals during the COVID-19 crisis, Mayhoola, the parent company of Balmain, Valentino and Pal Zileri, is donating one million euros to La Fondation Hôpitaux de Paris – Hôpitaux de France (FHP-HF).
Founded in 1989, and under the leadership of Brigitte Macron since June 2019, the FHP-HF has long relied on the public’s generosity to fund over 15,400 projects in French hospitals. The FHP-HF will leverage the Mayhoola donation to aid two hospitals, the Montfermeil and Delafontaine hospitals, both located in the French department of Seine-Saint Denis, north of Paris.
As of today, Seine-Saint Denis—one of France’s most densely populated areas—is one of the French departments that have been hardest hit by COVID-19.
Mayhoola’s one-million-euro donation will be earmarked by the FHP-HF to support two key necessities of the Montfermeil and Delafontaine hospitals:
Each of the hospitals will receive 400K€ to procure desperately needed equipment, including respirators, blood collection kits, syringe drivers, masks and catheters.
Each of the hospitals will receive 100K€ to support the health and well-being of medical staff – allowing the front-line heroes a chance to recover, rest and eat correctly between and during shifts, as they continue the fight in the coming weeks.
