As Pre-Fall approaches a number of houses are slowly taking to Instagram and YouTube to tease out their forthcoming campaigns. Early out the gate is one of The Impression’s favorites, Valentino.
For this season the house didn’t stray too far from their Roman roots shooting at Villa Aldobrandini, a 17th century art villa just outside of Rome. Once again Valentino’s Pierpaolo Piccioli teamed with creative art director Riccardo Ruini and his studio for creative.
Models Kaia Gerber and Fran Summers are paired with parrots, owls, snakes, and lizards in the villas enchanted gardens and art filled corridors. The result is an eclectic and layered look that bodes well for projecting the multi-cultural and artisanal feel of the house. And with a house and grounds as diverse as Villa Aldobrandini, we look forward to the fuller campaign that unfolds like a fine Italian outing.
