VERSACE Debuts Book Honoring the House’s Heritage Written by Donatella Versace

Donatella Versace looks back, remembering her lengthy career and analyzing her outlook of the house by writing VERSACE in collaboration with Maria Luisa Frisa and Stefano Tonchi. Published by Rizzoli, this extremely personal and visual history book shows us the place Versace holds in the fashion world as a legendary and iconic luxury brand through a series of never seen photos and notes.
VERSACE shows Donatella’s take on Versace up until the twenty-first century. Since the day she took over, after the death of her brother, Gianni Versace in 1997, Donatella has catapulted the brand into the future and legacy of luxury with her outgoing and alluring personality. VERSACE includes written contributions of original essays by friends of the brand as well as photos of Versace collections featuring the models known as the “original supers,” such as Christy Turlington-Burns, Naomi Campbell, and Linda Evangelista.
