Fall 2019 Ad Campaign by Piczo

Wooyoungmi Creative Director Katie Chung is someone we’ve been keeping our eye on. The house, founded by Woo Young Mi and her sister in 2002, kept it in the family by selecting the designer’s daughter, Katie Chung, as Wooyoungmi’s creative director in 2014. Chung, a Central Saint Martins graduate, has been pushing the house and its communication forward season by season.

For fall 2019 the house enlisted photographer Piczo to shine a light, literally, on the collection. Leveraging the tool of projection, Piczo and Chung have managed to spotlight the house as forward-thinking and The Impression is interested to see where their light will shine next.
