Eytys and Paris-based couture designer Sevali introduce a collaboration that transforms Eytys’ deadstock garments and fabrics into a fully upcycled capsule collection of ready-to-wear and footwear pieces.
When contemplating how to beat the deadstock dilemma, the idea was born to sidestep conventional warehouse sales and do something much more unique and precious with these items.
I always think that cooking with whatever is left in the fridge often creates the most exciting recipes, so we decided to shake things up. To look at the by-product with fresh eyes, we invited Sevali to co-design a collection. Specialized in flipping everyday objects into wearable artworks, he felt like the perfect ally for this mission

Sevali is the brainchild of Sebastian A. de Ruffray from Santiago, Chile. Sevali is making upcycled couture from mattresses, metro tickets and car seats under his own label – as seen on pop culture phenomenons Alexa Demie, Blackpink and Rosalía.
The collaboration presents seven looks elevated with vibrant animal motifs and Mediterranean club scene references: Pre-existing denim is printed on, tie-dyed and recontextualized into shoes and jackets, surplus jeans are remade with leather lacing tracing down the legs, repurposed leather and suede originally imagined for shoes are crafted to a biker jacket and mini skirt duo, leftover mesh and sports nylon become paparazzi-friendly new party attire – ravingly captured in the light of the night by British photographer Steph Wilson.
