Jacques Maire Mage serves up retro-futurist glam with its new Spring 2023 campaign by photographer Elizaveta Porodina.
With her signature style that creates dreamy, nostalgic portraits through a dazzlng interplay of jewel-like colors, light, and shadow, the relatively young Porodina is already a major voice in the way we view the face of contemporary fashion. Bolstered by the styling and eyewear design, she introduces a further sense of temporal narrative to this campaign by exploring a jet-set, art-deco aesthetic, painting her heroines as haughty, almost mystical stars of the silver screen.
It’s an engrossing visual world that does great work to emphasize the character of Jacques Marie Mage’s eyewear designs, showing how just slipping on a pair of sunglasses can take us on a journey through time and space and into the most glamorous part of ourselves.
