Roger Vivier Taps Eva Green for Latest Narrative Campaign

The Second Installment of the “Vivier Express: Travelling Icons” Series Takes a Noir Twist

Roger Vivier has released the second episode of its “Vivier Express: Travelling Icons” series, starring acclaimed actress and brand ambassador Eva Green. The ongoing campaign, directed by the house’s creative lead Gherardo Felloni, presents a series of imaginative short films showcasing Roger Vivier’s iconic designs. With each episode, Felloni combines high fashion with unexpected, campy narratives, creating an intriguing cinematic experience. Italian director Nicolangelo Gelormini and screenwriter Andrea Danese also collaborated with Felloni on the project.

Building on the first episode, which featured actress Laura Dern, Episode II takes a dramatic departure in tone and style. Inspired by classic film noir, this new episode introduces a sophisticated, psychologically thrilling ambiance with a touch of humor. Felloni explains his vision for the film, saying, “Films noir have always fascinated me. It’s a world where shadows speak, and every glance hides a secret. I wanted Eva to be our modern-day femme fatale, because she doesn’t just wear the shoes and accessories; she brings them to life, infusing them with a sense of danger and desire.”

Eva Green embodies this femme fatale persona effortlessly, dressed in a tailored black suit and Roger Vivier’s red suede I Love Vivier heels, paired with a Viv’ Choc bag. Her look channels Hollywood icons like Lauren Bacall and Bette Davis, evoking a sense of timeless allure that blends elegance with mystery. The story centers around her character’s journey aboard the luxurious Vivier Express, a train steeped in old-world sophistication.

Reflecting on her collaboration with Felloni, Green shared her enthusiasm: “It’s been my absolute pleasure to work with Gherardo Felloni. The first time I met him it was a complete ‘coup de foudre’ for the wonderful man and his beautiful shoes! I was delighted to be cast in his film for Roger Vivier and I look forward to sharing it with audiences.”
