The Grammy-Winning Pop Star Joins the Beauty Brand’s Impressive Roster of Ambassadors
Olivia Rodrigo, the 21-year-old Grammy-winning pop star, has been announced as Lancôme’s newest global ambassador.
“Embracing your individuality is so important in beauty since there are many unrealistic expectations placed on young women today,” Rodrigo shared in a brand statement. “Lancôme is an iconic and timeless brand that promotes beauty from within, and I am honored to be part of their family.”
Rodrigo is set to front campaigns for Lancôme’s L’Absolu Rouge lipstick and other key products in 2024. Her first promotional image showcases her signature winged eyeliner and bold red lips, crafted by makeup artist Melissa Hernandez using Lancôme staples such as Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation, Lash Idole Eyeliner, and L’Absolu Rouge Cream Lipstick in 132 Caprice de Rouge.

Rodrigo, known for her emotionally resonant music, first rose to prominence with her 2021 hit “Drivers License” and debut album Sour. Her sophomore album, Guts, debuted at No. 1 and has been streamed over 4.1 billion times on Spotify. Currently, she is wrapping up her sold-out Guts World Tour, which spanned North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. The tour’s Los Angeles performance took center stage in a Netflix documentary released in October.
Beyond music and beauty, Rodrigo’s impact extends to activism. She founded Fund 4 Good, which supports nonprofits focused on reproductive rights and combating gender-based violence. Lehmann lauded her advocacy, saying, “She embodies very positive values and is inventing her own path, which makes her the perfect person for Lancôme.”
