The Brand Continues Its Powerful Growth with a Major Retail Presence on Fifth Avenue
Skims has opened its first flagship store in New York City, a significant development in the brand’s retail expansion. The new store on Fifth Avenue, designed by the renowned Rafael de Cárdenas, Ltd., embodies Skims’ unique design aesthetic with its rounded-edge fixtures and custom mannequins, all set in the brand’s signature tonal shades. The flagship is designed to offer an immersive shopping experience that showcases the brand’s innovative approach to comfort and style.
Kim Kardashian, Co-Founder & Chief Creative Officer of Skims, expressed her enthusiasm for the new venture: “This flagship is a dream realized for Skims. Spanning 6,570 square feet, the store transforms a historic building on Fifth Avenue into a modern retail haven. A prominent 15-foot sculpture by Vanessa Beecroft greets customers at the entrance. Inside, the space extends across three stories and a mezzanine, featuring sleek Corian displays against ultrasuede backdrops, all reflecting Skims’ distinctive color palette.
Jens Grede, Co-Founder & CEO of Skims, highlighted the strategic evolution of the brand’s physical presence: “From the brand’s inception, we envisioned physical stores as an integral part of our business model. The success of our pop-ups and partnerships with trusted retail partners allowed us to refine our approach and learn what truly resonates with our customers,” he explained. “This flagship store is the culmination of those learnings, offering an unparalleled experience where customers can fully immerse themselves in the world of Skims.”
The flagship store features a wide range of products for both women and men, including loungewear, underwear, and shapewear. Shoppers can explore best-selling collections like Fits Everybody, Cotton, and Ultimate Bras, along with new releases and exclusive monthly drops. The store also offers Skims’ holiday shop collection and recent collaborations, such as those with Dolce & Gabbana and The North Face.
The design of the flagship is geared towards creating an inclusive and inviting atmosphere. Fitting rooms equipped with wraparound mirrors and luminous ceilings offer customers a flattering and immersive trying-on experience.

The Skims flagship store is now welcoming visitors at 647 Fifth Avenue.
