Review of Sergio Hudson Fall 2025 Fashion Show

Power suiting. Disco glam.
Sergio Hudson always does great work to foster a sense of community, and the approach of kicking off his Fall 2025 collection with a cocktail hour (also a smart way to tie in a sponsorship) was emblematic of this energy. Once the crowd was warmed up, he debuted a vibrant and polished collection that nicely incorporated spirits of 70s glam and 20s decadence into his vision.
Tailoring is the core of Sergio Hudson’s brand, and the designer continued to flex his signature vision of a long and lean suit while introducing a sense of business-minded power: as Hudson knows, there’s just something about a woman in a tie.
But the collection was far from all business: bodaciously voluminous fluffy jackets are ready to keep their wearers warm on the way to the club, while a disco ball dress is guaranteed to steal the spotlight on the dance floor.
Though the cable-knit sweaters didn’t always fit with the energy of the collection as a whole, it is a smart move to expand further into the category, an evolution that extended to the few menswear looks as well.

Impressively combining seemingly contradictory elements of power suiting and decadent glamor without losing the thread, Sergio Hudson delivered another collection that was true to his spirit of vibrant, strong femininity.
