Handwritten love letters available at select Valentino stores, featuring works from six contemporary writers
Maison Valentino has announced Dream Baby Press for Valentino, a literary collaboration with Dream Baby Press, the New York-based entertainment company known for its contemporary approach to literature. Founded in 2022 by Matt Starr, Dream Baby Press gained attention for The Love Hate Lists and continues to explore new ways of engaging with literature and poetry.
To mark Valentine’s Day, Valentino and Dream Baby Press have curated a selection of works by six contemporary authors, offering diverse perspectives on love through humor, passion, and reflection. Contributors include Dream Baby Press founder Matt Starr, actress and multidisciplinary artist Jemima Kirke, award-winning writer and musician Brontez Purnell, digital storyteller Mackenzie Thomas, novelist and screenwriter Jerry Stahl, and bestselling author Coco Mellors.
From February 12 to 14, these literary pieces will be available in select Valentino boutiques across Europe and the United States. Each text will be handwritten and scented with Valentino’s Haute Couture fragrance, Sogno in Rosso, creating a unique Valentine’s Day gift.
Participating Valentino stores include Paris Avenue Montaigne, Milan Santo Spirito, Rome Piazza di Spagna, London Sloane, and New York Madison from February 12 to 14. Additional locations include Bal Harbour on February 13 and Miami Design District, San Francisco, and South Coast Plaza Costa Mesa on February 14.
This collaboration will extend into the spring with a special event featuring Matt Starr, reinforcing Valentino’s ongoing support for emerging creative projects and contemporary literary expression.
