Dsquared2 Fall 2025 Fashion Show
The Showstopper

Few brands have gone from just starting out to playing on the major scale of Dsquared2 in just 30 years, and even fewer have done it without ever losing sight of what led to their success in the first place. For Fall 2025, twin creative directors Dean and Dan Caten indulge in a much-deserved celebration of their three decades of style and the community they have built along the way.

Centered around this idea of a community of fiercely expressive individuals, the collection unfolds like the best-dressed and best-attended party ever. Immersive set design situates the audience in a nightclub, where a parade of unmistakably Dsquared2 personalities roll up (in actual cars no less) one after the other. These characters embody signature archetypes from the brand’s storied history – Canadian rhinestone cowboys, disco queens, glam rockers, elegantly louche lotharios, Dallas socialites, leather scenesters, red-carpet starlets – all cleverly styled with the brand’s brilliant attention to playful detail.

The most thoughtful, forward-thinking aspect of the collection came in choice of collaborators. The runway was peppered with debut collaborations with young brands that have been inspired by Dsquared2’s world over the decades: the quirkily twisted structures of Magliano, the upcycling alchemy of Bettter, and the remixed Y2K glam of Vaquera. The partnerships reach beyond the world of fashion and into other pop cultural avenues as well; a collab with Ducati brings in the muscular power of motorsport, while a collab with the legendary rock band Kiss electrifies the collection with a dose of glam-rock drama – not to mention iconic makeup and platform boots.

The cross-generational community spirit extends across the iconic and thoughtfully eclectic casting as well, which brings together some of the biggest supermodel names that have represented the brand in the past alongside next-generation talent. Naomi Campbell, one of the earliest major names to team with the brand, made an epic return to close the show, while upstart icon Doechii continued her fashion hot streak by opening the show with her first runway appearance – as well as a performance as the runway show seamlessly transitioned to afterparty.

Dsquared2 is nothing if not fun, and the rhythm and energy of the presentation was electrifyingly infectious. From surprise celebrity appearances and roller disco voguing to Dean and Dan being “arrested” during their final bow only to slip the cuffs, the event was a glorious display of celebratory storytelling.

THE WRAP UP

It’s safe to say that Dean and Dan haven’t lost any energy or their distinct sense of fun over these 30 years. This larger-than-life runway show is a fitting way to close out a chapter while laying the foundations of more goodness to come.
