Boss Unveils First Collection with David Beckham for Spring 2025

Collection reflects Beckham’s personal style and Boss’s product-first strategy

Nearly a year after the announcement of a multiyear design partnership, Boss has officially introduced its first collaborative collection with David Beckham. The spring 2025 launch includes both formal and casual menswear designed with input from the former soccer player.

Signed in May 2023, the partnership marks a new initiative for the German label, aiming to align with Beckham’s personal style across a full range of wardrobe essentials. The Beckham x Boss collection features tailored clothing and casual pieces including knitwear, jersey basics, denim, outerwear, shirts, and a range of accessories. Tailoring includes a new cut exclusive to the collaboration.

“Our first Beckham x Boss collection marks a significant milestone in our long-term strategic partnership and represents a unique moment in the history of our core brand,” said Daniel Grieder, chief executive officer of Hugo Boss. “We have been very much looking forward to this launch and are more than excited to see how these pieces are received by our end consumers. This collection is based on our strategic priority that product is key and our goal to seamlessly dress our customers for every occasion with our brands.”

Beckham previously collaborated with Kent & Curwen and was involved in designing the new collection. “I’ve always loved fashion and curating different looks, so having the opportunity to collaborate with Boss on my own spring/summer collection has been a great experience,” said Beckham. “It’s allowed me to really get into the detail of the pieces and to create a wardrobe of looks that aim to be effortlessly stylish and suit a range of occasions. I can’t wait to see it in stores.”

Marco Falcioni, senior vice president of creative direction for Hugo Boss, explained the construction of the tailoring. “The new cut of the tailored pieces feature a ‘sharper shoulder construction’ in the jacket, ‘a look inspired by Savile Row but still more relaxed than the classic power shoulder. The armhole is cut with a different angle and we added a different shoulder pad. The buttons on the lapel are lower, giving the impression that the jacket is longer than our standard silhouette. The shape of torso and the waist are more defined. The pants are mid-high waisted with a sharp, tapered cut. The stitching in general is tighter and thinner and at the very edge of the hems.’”

Colors range from core neutrals like beige, khaki, ivory, navy, and black to softer tones of sky blue and pink. Denim is available in both dark and light washes. Accessories in the line include a leather holdall, Chelsea boots, and a baker boy cap.

“Working with David on the first-ever Beckham x Boss collection has been absolutely incredible,” said Falcioni. “He is extremely committed to excellence and detail. His passion for fashion is authentic and he has been deeply involved in all aspects of our collaboration. We had a lot of fun during the shared design process, and the result is this remarkable collection of timeless pieces that exude effortless confidence.”

Beckham is also featured in the campaign for the line, which was directed and photographed by Lachlan Bailey for Team Laird. Promotional efforts will include billboards in major global locations such as Times Square in New York and Piccadilly Circus in London, in addition to campaigns across Europe, Asia, Australia, and North America.

Boss will also launch global store window installations and pop-ups. The Beckham x Boss collection will be available through Boss’s retail stores, e-commerce platform, and selected wholesale partners.
