'Blue Book High Jewelry 2025: Sea of Wonder' 2025 Ad Campaign

Review of Tiffany & Co. ‘Blue Book High Jewelry 2025: Sea of Wonder’ 2025 Ad Campaign by Creative Directors Charles Levai & Kevin Tekinel and Photographer Carlijn Jacobs with model Stella Hanan

Tiffany & Co. plunges into the deep with Blue Book 2025: Sea of Wonder, a high jewelry campaign conceived by Chief Artistic Officer Nathalie Verdeille and brought to life by photographer Carlijn Jacobs. Set against a serene seascape, the imagery serves as an ode to the house’s oceanic lineage, reinterpreting Jean Schlumberger’s iconic aquatic designs through a modern, surrealist lens. Creative direction by Charles Levai and Kevin Tekinel frames the collection as both a tribute and an evolution—where the sea’s symbolism becomes fertile ground for both mythology and material mastery.

Jacobs’ photography evokes an atmosphere of stillness and clarity, capturing model Stella Hanan in a series of poised, sculptural compositions. The styling by Katie Burnett is purposefully understated, allowing the jewelry’s extraordinary craftsmanship to hold center stage. A turtle brooch rests meditatively on a collarbone; a seahorse glimmers between fingertips; starfish unfurl across ears and décolletage in arresting symmetry. The palette—cool aquamarines, glowing rubies, brilliant diamonds—mimics the bioluminescent shimmer of marine life. Hair by Mustafa Yanaz and makeup by Sam Visser further elevate the campaign’s ethereal quality, while casting director Piergiorgio Del Moro ensures the model presence matches the quiet magnetism of the pieces.

There is undeniable elegance in the campaign’s restraint, but it also leans heavily on composure over spontaneity. While the theme gestures toward the untamed mystery of the ocean, the visuals are controlled and pristine—more tableau than tide. As a result, the sense of narrative is subdued. One wonders what emotion or movement might have emerged with a slightly less polished surface.

Nevertheless, Sea of Wonder is a confident immersion in Tiffany’s core values: rarity, craftsmanship, and enduring beauty. It doesn’t seek to disrupt; instead, it invites the viewer to drift—luxuriously—into the depths.
