110 one-of-a-kind pieces explore craftsmanship and design through 12 themes
Louis Vuitton will debut its 2025 high jewelry collection, Virtuosity, this summer. The release consists of 110 unique pieces divided into 12 themes across two categories: The World of Mastery and The World of Creativity. The collection reflects a transition from technical precision to artistic experimentation through Louis Vuitton’s signature design language.
In The World of Mastery, the collection opens with Savoir, centered around a triangle-cut 30.56ct Australian black opal set in a necklace flanked by a 28.01ct emerald drop. Additional pieces include earrings, a ring, and a bracelet. Subsequent themes—Protection, Keeper, Maestria, Monumental, and Apogée—build upon concepts of knowledge, guardianship, and skilled construction, employing rare stones such as rubies, sapphires, alexandrite, and a 30.75ct Brazilian emerald.
A transitional theme, Connection, uses diamond-set rope motifs and pearls to lead into The World of Creativity. Here, the focus shifts toward artistic interpretation. Motion features wave-inspired sapphire and diamond designs, including a 35.68ct Sri Lankan sapphire. Florescence introduces modular necklaces using tourmalines and diamonds, while Joy centers on yellow gold pieces set with an array of multi-hued tourmalines and sapphires.
Aura focuses on reinterpretations of the LV Monogram flower using pink-toned tourmalines and introduces a convertible necklace, a watch, and a belt. The collection culminates in Eternal Sun, defined by 46.13 carats of yellow diamonds assembled over seven years. A central 14ct round yellow diamond and 3.88ct LV Monogram Star cut diamond complete the final design, which can be worn six ways.
The full collection is positioned as a progression—from craft to artistic freedom—threaded together by recurring motifs including Damier patterns, chevrons, kite shapes, and the LV Monogram star and flower cuts. Louis Vuitton frames Virtuosity as a journey through design, technique, and evolving identity.
