New Trailgrip models, artistic workshops, and live performance featured at event
Moncler brought its experiential footwear concept, Studio Ascenti, to New York City for its third edition. Set in a high-rise location with views across Manhattan, the event showcased the brand’s Fall/Winter 2025 footwear collection in a space designed for engagement, testing, and brand storytelling.
New styles presented included the Altive boot, Trailgrip LP, and Trailgrip Apex2 sneakers, along with returning silhouettes offered in updated colorways. The NYC installment followed previous activations in Milan and Paris.
Studio Ascenti is positioned as an open-format experience intended to replace the traditional showroom. Attendees were guided through product evolutions and encouraged to interact with the footwear in a tactile environment. Designated Scenic Wear Testing Zones allowed guests to try on products and evaluate their performance in context.
Large digital displays throughout the venue created a mountainous visual backdrop and were also used as a setting for content creation. A designated host led visitors through the space and provided context around Moncler’s approach to functionality and aesthetics.
Maurice Kamara, founder of The People Gallery and a recognizable figure in the New York fashion scene, served as host. Kamara shared personal commentary and guided guests through product stations, interactive installations, and visual displays.
The program also included a creative workshop with artist Jessy Nite, who introduced guests to the craft of woven paracord. Known for her large-scale tapestry works, Nite offered guidance on making customized accessories using the material — each designed to attach to Moncler footwear.
A live performance by musician and Moncler brand ambassador Tobe Nwigwe took place as part of the event. Nwigwe debuted a new song inspired by the Trailgrip design. The performance emphasized themes of exploration and personal growth. For the occasion, Nwigwe wore the Trailgrip MoMint — a custom interpretation of the sneaker — along with a matching look in his signature mint color.
Moncler’s Studio Ascenti NYC was conceived to spotlight the brand’s evolving footwear focus through immersive installations, creative workshops, and community-based storytelling.
