LVMH Day at SCAD

LVMH Day Makes Its U.S. Debut at SCAD

The first LVMH Day held at an American university connected SCAD students with leaders from Louis Vuitton, Dior, Tiffany & Co., and more

SCAD Atlanta became the first American university to host LVMH Day—a premier engagement experience connecting students from the School of Fashion and the De Sole School of Business Innovation directly with leaders from the world’s most storied luxury group.

Curated to bridge academic excellence with professional opportunity, the day-long event brought together executives and talent representatives from LVMH, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., Christian Dior Couture, and the LVMH Fashion Group—whose portfolio includes Celine, Givenchy, Pucci, Loewe, Kenzo, and Fendi. The gathering offered students a rare, firsthand look inside the global luxury ecosystem and the pathways that power it.

Over 200 senior and graduate students from SCAD’s top-ranked programs in luxury and brand management, fashion marketing and management, and the business of beauty and fragrance took part. Through immersive presentations, workshops, and one-on-one conversations, students explored LVMH’s creative culture, its commitment to craftsmanship, and its evolving vision of leadership and innovation across more than 75 maisons.

Highlights included Inside LVMH presentations, Louis Vuitton’s Accessories Design Graduate Initiative, and “Retail Reimagined” breakout sessions led by senior LVMH Maison executives. In addition, 28 SCAD students engaged in “Meet the Maisons” coffee chats—intimate portfolio reviews designed to foster personal connections and mentorship between emerging talent and industry leaders.

“Our work with academic partners like SCAD enables us to bridge the worlds of education, culture and luxury, while championing mutual learning at every step. By providing students with unique opportunities to engage directly with our maisons and leaders, LVMH Day celebrates talent, creativity, and opportunity across all backgrounds. It highlights our commitment to being an employer of choice for the next generation, ensuring that every student, regardless of their identity or experience, feels empowered to pursue their ambitions within the luxury industry. Through authentic connections we are cultivating a culture where diverse perspectives and ideas are essential to our continued growth and innovation.”

— Corey Smith, Vice President of Diversity & Inclusion and Academic Relations, LVMH North America

For SCAD, hosting LVMH Day represents both a milestone and a natural alignment between two institutions built on excellence, creativity, and the pursuit of mastery.

“LVMH Day at SCAD was an incredible opportunity for our students to connect directly with the most influential leaders in the world of luxury. We’re honored that SCAD was selected as the first American university to host this experience, reflecting the strong partnership between the university and LVMH and our shared commitment to creative and professional excellence. Opportunities like this give our students firsthand insight into global luxury, innovation, and business and prepare them to thrive at the highest level after graduation. We’re proud to collaborate with LVMH in cultivating the next generation of creative leaders.”

— Eleanor Twiford, Associate Vice President, Career & Alumni Success at SCAD

In a moment where the future of luxury depends as much on talent as tradition, LVMH Day at SCAD underscored the value of education as a bridge to creativity, culture, and career.
