The partnership returns with technical outerwear, performance layers, and first-time kidswear, positioning the capsule for peak holiday demand.
The North Face and SKIMS are advancing their collaboration with a new limited-edition winter capsule timed to the holiday season. The collection broadens the scope of their partnership with an expanded range of silhouettes, performance-driven accessories, and a debut kidswear offering. The move deepens the strategic alignment between the outdoor-performance leader and SKIMS’ fast-growing fashion and lifestyle business.
The capsule merges The North Face’s technical engineering with SKIMS’ fit-centric design approach, creating outerwear, contoured base layers, and modular separates built from advanced performance fabrics. The emphasis sits on cold-weather functionality—mobility, insulation, and ease—delivered through a streamlined visual language consistent with SKIMS’ minimalist aesthetic. New and returning silhouettes anchor the offering, reinforcing the collaboration’s positioning at the intersection of performance and contemporary fashion.
A dual-photographer campaign by Laura Obermeyer and Jackie Nickerson frames the release against the dramatic terrain of the Chilean mountains. The imagery blends action shots with refined editorial compositions, presenting the collection through a lens of high-performance storytelling and amplified visual contrast. Monochromatic styling underscores the merge of SKIMS’ body-conscious forms with The North Face’s technical heritage.
The palette introduces winter tones—Bone, Kyanite, Gunmetal, Phoenix, and Onyx—supporting a cohesive, elevated look across both apparel and accessories. With kidswear entering the equation for the first time, the collaboration extends its reach to a broader consumer base while reinforcing SKIMS’ intention to scale across categories.
The North Face x SKIMS collection will be available beginning December 9 across SKIMS.com, thenorthface.com, SKIMS-owned retail stores, select North Face locations, and a group of luxury retail partners. Pricing spans $55 to $800, with sizes ranging from XXS–3XL for adults and 0–24 months and 2T–7T for children.
