Adidas x Gucci celebrated the launch of the collaboration with two celebrations on the adidas x Gucci Melrose Pop-Up. The Pop-Up spilled onto Melrose Place for a special two day immersive outdoor experience and street takeover, featuring bleachers, a basketball court, and adidas x Gucci wrapped picnic tables.
Guests mingled at the ephemeral pop-up while enjoying music by DJ Mazerbate and DJ Huney Cut, as well as performances by LA Roller Girls, Let’s Jump LA, and Dance LA Entertainment. Inspired by the vibrant colors and vintage aesthetic of the collection, food and drink options included a bright orange Calirosa Sunrise, a refreshing watermelon cocktail and nostalgic Jello shots. Food dishes were served wrapped in custom, sustainable adidas x Gucci packaging.
The following day, adidas x Gucci opened the celebrations up to the public, inviting Friends of the House, California locals, and community members to experience the Gucci Melrose Pop-Up and street takeover. Guests enjoyed music by DJ Mazurbate, DJ Huney Cut, and DJ BAMJR, and rainbow ice from Happy Ice.
